8. Federation Silky Oak Dressing Chest c. 1910
This substantial Federation silky oak dressing chest is one of the best made pieces that we have ever stocked and is in good original condition. Originally from Queensland, it features a large bevelled mirror, four generous drawers and two small trinket drawers. Its simple, uncomplicated style is enhanced by attractive copper Art Nouveau handles.

7. Arts and Crafts Maple Bedroom Suite Dressing Table c.1905
This stunning Arts & Crafts maple kneehole dressing table was made by Beard Watson Limited (reg no. 19843) and is based on a suite designed by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple in England. The rare, complete suite comprises a wardrobe with matching dressing table and washstand. The dressing table has a single cupboard with shelf, five deep drawers and two trinket drawers with original handles and a replacement mirror that is supported by two uprights in classic Arts and Crafts style. The piece features outstanding abalone, mother of pearl and fruitwood inlays that are in excellent condition. There is matching washstand and wardrobe that bear the same beautiful inlays.
