This Federation oak dressing table is a great example of quality cabinetmaking by highly regarded Sydney furniture manufacturer, Beard Watson and Co Limited (maker's plaque in top drawer and model no.40315). The piece has been totally restored and has a large bevelled mirror, original handles and Lever locks in the three spacious drawers.

Federation Maple Dressing Table c.1905
This elegant Federation maple dressing table has multiple cedar based drawers, a large bevelled mirror and decorative solid maple pilasters. Edwardian Oak Hallstand c.1900
This is an extraordinary example of an Edwardian piece of furniture. It has its original hooks and Art Nouveau handle on the single drawer and floral cut-outs in the sides whilst above the original bevelled mirror are intricate floral carving and dentine trim. This imposing hallstand is made of solid, beautifully grained English oak and it retains its original mellowed patina. The piece may be attributed to the noted English furniture maker, Harris Lebus, and has a model number RD 314627 on the drawer.

Originating from Hahndorf in South Australia, this Victorian kauri pine meat safe cabinet has one deep drawer, two fixed shelves behind the two doors and original pressed wire on each side. The piece is solidly constructed and has a shaped galley top. The finish is natural and has been bees waxed. This item is a high quality, extremely clean piece of furniture that will have many applications in any room in the house. Whilst it could be used in the kitchen or family room, it could be also used as a linen press, clothes chest or as a versatile nappy cupboard or toy box in a child’s room.
